Spring Is In Full Swing!
The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and everything is waking up with the breath of new life! Spring has finally come!
God is doing amazing things in our church as well! In our Sunday school class, we enjoyed a six week series on the Armor of God, based on Ephesians 6:11: "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil". This verse and the following verses in Ephesians 6:13-18 detail the various pieces of spiritual armor and their significance.
The Armor of God is a metaphor for the spiritual protection and strength Christians need to resist spiritual evil. It's not a literal physical suit of armor, but rather a figurative representation of God’s equipping of believers to stand firm against the attacks of the devil.
We had so much fun, learning about each piece of armor…and we threw bean bags at our Sister Kalapali! Thankfully, she had her shield to protect her!
As we moved into the Easter season, we learned about how God keeps His promises and is always worthy of our complete trust. Throughout the Old Testament, we see prophesies of Jesus’ birth, sacrifice, resurrection and the forgiveness of sins for ALL who would confess and believe. We learned about how the Disciples, through their grief and unbelief, came to finally understand the Gospel. We learned that Christianity has spread so marvelously, not only because of everyone who was touched by Jesus’ resurrection, but also because Christianity is inclusive. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name”John 1:12.
And you’re welcome, too! Please come and be a part of loving body of Believers who want to learn and grow together! We offer Sunday school in English and Japanese. Our pastor is also bilingual and excited to share the love of God with you!
We’re excited to have Sister Kalapali Hettiarachchi, an Evangelist and a businesswoman from Sri Lanka, who is our link to a growing Sri Lankan population in our area. We’d love to welcome this precious community into our church and hope to have activities and events offered in your native language.

『クリスマス礼拝2023』のご案内※終了致しました
2023年12月24日（日曜日）今年もクリスマス礼拝を行いました。神様の恵みの中で予定通り無事に終了いたしました。「当イベント紹介ページ」 では、当日の様子を写真と動画にて紹介を致しました。
当教会の新型コロナウイルス感染症への対策について
主の御名を讃美します。
昨今の状況を考慮し、礼拝中止の継続も検討しましたが、当教会の新型コロナウイルス感染症への対策(下記参照) をした上で、今度の主日2020/5/17より礼拝を再開する判断を致しました。
礼拝への参加は強制ではありません。ウイルス感染に不安を抱かれる場合は、勿論、遠慮なくお休み下さい。
何卒、皆様のご理解を頂けます様、宜しくお願い致します。
在主
- 発熱、咳など少しでも体調不良の方、又、ウイルス感染に不安を抱いている方は、遠慮なく礼拝をお休み下さい。
- 消毒液を設置していますので、礼拝堂に入る前には手指のアルコール消毒をお願いします。
- マスクをご着用下さい。尚、讃美指導者、説教者につきましては、奉仕中のマスクの未着用はご了承下さい。
- 座席は一つ置きに間隔を取って、着席して下さい。
- 礼拝中は窓を開け、換気を良くする。
- トイレに共用のタオルは感染予防の観点から用意していません。ご自身のハンカチ・ハンドタオル等をお持ち下さい。
